About Me
My name is Tammy Guest, MA, and I am the founder and president of Living Waters Enterprises, LLC. I have more than 25 years of professional experience helping people with disabilities pursue meaningful employment, career, and self-employment goals.

My background includes vocational rehabilitation, career exploration and assessment, job development and placement, job coaching, supported and customized employment, self-employment services, and SSI/SSDI benefits and work incentives. Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals with a wide range of disabilities and barriers to employment and have successfully assisted hundreds of people in obtaining employment.

A significant part of my career has also focused on training and supporting employment professionals. I spent more than eight years providing statewide training and fidelity support and have trained hundreds of Employment Specialists in effective employment practices, including job development, employer engagement, job placement, job coaching, supported employment, and other aspects of employment service delivery. My experience includes developing employment programs, providing technical assistance, and helping professionals translate evidence-based practices into effective services for the people they support.

As an Employment Specialist, I achieved consistently strong employment and retention outcomes and received recognition for achieving the highest employment outcomes in Oregon over multiple years. I was also selected to participate in the Dartmouth Expert Employment Specialist Project, further strengthening my experience in evidence-based supported employment.

Since 2022, I have served as a Business Advisor providing contracted self-employment services for Oregon Vocational Rehabilitation and the Oregon Commission for the Blind. In this role, I help individuals explore business ideas, evaluate feasibility, develop business plans and financial projections, and move through business startup and implementation. My support is highly hands-on and can include bookkeeping and accounting system setup, website development, marketing, business operations, and problem-solving as a business develops.
I am also a small business owner myself and understand the practical realities of building and operating a business. I combine that experience with my vocational rehabilitation and benefits expertise to help individuals consider not only whether a business idea can work, but how self-employment may interact with disability benefits, support needs, and long-term vocational goals.

My approach is practical, individualized, and grounded in real-world experience. Whether I am working directly with an individual, partnering with an agency, or training professionals, my goal is to make complicated processes understandable and provide strategies and tools that can be applied in real-world settings.
