Support may be provided in coordination with Vocational Rehabilitation and other referring agencies, or through individualized consulting services.

How We Can Help

Business Exploration & Feasibility

Explore whether self-employment is a good fit for your goals, strengths, interests, and circumstances. Support may include developing a business concept, identifying potential customers, researching competitors, estimating startup needs, and evaluating whether the idea has the potential to become a sustainable business.

Business Setup & Hands-On Training

Get practical help setting up the tools and systems needed to operate your business — with individualized instruction so you can learn to manage them yourself. Support may include website and e-commerce setup, learning to update and maintain your website, bookkeeping system setup and training, payment processing, business email, digital tools, and basic business recordkeeping.

Business Planning & Development

Turn your business idea into a practical plan. Assistance may include developing a business plan, defining products or services, identifying target customers, developing pricing and revenue strategies, estimating expenses, and planning how the business will operate.

Marketing, Operations & Ongoing Support

Build the systems and strategies needed to reach customers and keep your business moving forward. Support may include marketing and promotional materials, online presence, e-commerce support, operational processes, reviewing business progress, troubleshooting challenges, and making adjustments as the business grows.

Vanessa, Business Owner

I honestly don't think that I could have started my business without their support. It was overwhelming to start with, and they simplified things to the point that I began to believe it was possible. It would have taken me a year to figure out how to get everything set up myself, but with their help I was operational in just a couple months."
